Eric the Viking aka the Clammy Clamster

This weekend I found out my sister also reads this crap, hahaha I’m going to have to be careful what I say in future now that there are so many that read this who… well you know!
So my little sister stayed over as she was doing a sky dive the next morning and we watched the video of her 30th birthday (am I allowed to say that Eric?….hahaha damn, do I now have to explain why we call her Eric?…oh and Phoebe as her personality is just like the character from Friends) and put it on disc. A couple of things stuck out from the film (apart from a personal note not to do karaoke again). The first is why do her friends call her the “Clammy Clamster”…or is it best not to ask!
The other is a note for my dad. If you are filming your daughters work mates on the bouncy castle don’t make comments on if you think they are wearing any ‘knickers’…. the camera picks it up! Also if you are knocking back shots of Sambucca turn the camera off and take it away from your eye!! Hahahaha
I could carry on but that’s enough trouble I’ve got myself into for now…but if they are going to read this stuff then that makes them fair game imho!

Ok so I played no poker of the online kind this weekend but I was lucky enough to play in a great home game. It was a great day/night with lots of banter that started off in the pub and ended with some great poker. TBH I don’t know how I did exactly due to the lateness and the drink (I know, I know…. bad isn’t it) but I must have won something as I was only £30 down for the whole weekend including my room and beers etc. The stakes were quite high (not saying how high) but there still wasn’t a tense atmosphere and it was quite relaxed. Thanks guys (not that they read this).

I’ve put a new link on for a blog I like. Its Guns on Film and is written by a fellow Academy member. If you like blogs that are about more than just poker but also an insight into other peoples life then I highly recommend it. There you go Jab, you know where to send the fiver ;-)

Hey Aledan - just wondering if you happen to play on Sun Poker. I signed up yesterday and sat down to a $1/$2 Limit HE table and saw a player named Ale.dan - was that you? Just a long shot guess but that name rang a bell.

hey yeah that was me and I did notice the name and wondered if it was you. I normaly play the 2/4 tables but as I didnt have much time I couldn't be arsed with waiting.
Next time I'll say hi....(or avoid you hehehe ;-) )
Ah I was right. You left the table before I had a chance to ask ya. From the past blog entries looks like you've been on Sun for a while. Must be a good site if you're still playing on it. See you at a tourney or ring table sometime.
